Read MoreThis week the children have been celebrating bonfire night by getting creative and making firework displays using finger painting. Our young person created fireworks that she had seen the night before whilst watching them in the garden.
They have also picked up on excellent examples of tips to stay safe around bonfire night, such as, only an adult is to light a firework and when thy do everyone stands back at a safe distance. They also knew that you should never throw or point a firework at another person, and to never try to re-light or pick-up fireworks that have not been ignited fully!

Read MoreThe children at Grace House have been growing their very own vegetables in their garden, over time.
They have grown vegetables such as, tomatoes and carrots, which were ready to be picked.
Alongside growing their very own vegetables. the children also made their own sushi for dinner this week.
They really enjoyed making sushi and loved the taste too.
Read MoreThis week our young person and staff member at Lint House created their very own sensory box, with bits and pieces that were found around the home.
This activity was completed as part of a debrief as one of the adults at Lint House likes to be creative, in how they talk about their feelings and emotions with the children.
As part of this activity they lay craft items on the table, and they asked each other which item they felt would represent certain feelings, such as, anger, pain, sadness, as well as, joy, happiness and love.
The young person and staff member found this very interesting as it was good to see how different people perceived these feelings.
This reminded us that we all feel emotions in different ways.
The sensory box is now located in the home’s dining room for all at Lint House to use, should they need to.
